The beautiful town of Chinon, France is dear to me, as one of my best French friends is from there. I have visited it often. So, this darling watercolor of its ancient streets is one that caught my eye. Painted in 1902 by artist Nei Helos. It is in perfect condition and only requires a lovely frame and a perfect spot on the wall of your home. I love the detail of the laundry hanging outside and the castle turret in the background. The little river town of Chinon is famous for its amazing world class wine and also as a stop for Richard the Lionheart on his way to the crusades.
