This pencil drawing is of a Bretagne Chateau with a very rich history. It is of a medieval castle built in 1025. Many very famous people have resided within its walls including the famous French writer Chateaubriand. This little piece was executed in 1933 and it is fascinating to see the original village in the foreground, it is signed but the signature is very unclear. I love the history this piece brings with it and also the very nice late 1800's frame.
